Paul W. Roop, II
A native of Beckley, West Virginia, Paul Roop earned his J.D. Degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1989. After working in a highly-complex, litigation practice for his initial years as an attorney, Paul moved back to his hometown of Beckley in 1991 and conducted all litigation for a respected local firm until 1998. Paul believed that in starting his own practice, he could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues and focus on those areas of greatest interest to himself. In January, 1998, Paul founded Roop Law Office. Since then, Paul has represented numerous clients in State and Federal Courts. Roop Law Office has allowed Paul to fully realize his passion for helping people at all levels of litigation and protection from adversaries who appear to have all the advantages.

Paul is an active member of a number of professional organizations including the Raleigh County Bar Association, the West Virginia Association for Justice, the Rutherford Institute, and a board member of the Beckley-Raleigh County YMCA. Paul treats every client with respect and integrity.

Outside of the office, Paul enjoys the outdoors and the opportunities provided by living in Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia including hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and biking.

Paul lives outside Beckley with his wife, Tammy, and their two children.
